Brought to you this week by Keystone Capital

Howdy,

With the Division 1 having the weekend off with a Bye it was left to the other Divisions to ‘Fly the Flag’

SENIOR DIVISIONS:

Division 2 took on Gawler Rangers and with bombs by youngster Ali Tanner and the rejuvenated Adrian Chenoweth they had a comfortable 6-4 win

Division 3 had a walk over 18-3 win over Gawler Rangers. Scoring 7 in the second and 11 in the third

Division 6 collected 14 runs to 5 against Playford City in a game spoilt by inconsistent umpiring.

Division 7 unfortunately went down 10-2 against a youthful Flinders University.

Division 8 stuck to their guns and overcame a determined Gawler Rangers to record their first win -16-10.

Great stuff for a group of guys who are starting to gel. Randall South’s recruiting has unearthed a former Crows AFL player - none other than Nathan Bassett

Women’s League: Finally the competition has begun with our ‘Champion Women’s Team’ being successful in their opening game of the season with a resounding 18-5 win over Northern Districts.

Coach Adrian Gibbs was pleased that all players contributed to the win with some solid batting.

Congratulations to Tracey Robinson and Jenny Barker in notching up 50 games. Well done! Now for that elusive 100!

JUNIOR LEAGUES:

Senior League had a walk-over win against Goodwood Indians to the tune of 20-4

Junior League D1 Battled away all day and held off Goodwood, who came home with a rush,

to win 9-6.

Junior League D2 after two consecutive byes found it difficult to get into the game through lack of game time and went down 15-2 against Goodwood.

Little League D1 got away to a good start scoring 4 runs in their first at bat but unfortunately could not continue on and were overcome by Goodwood 15-6.

Intermediate League played some good ball and notched up a solid 14-6 win against Southern Districts.

Minor League Cardinals battled away before going down 8-4 against Goodwood

Minor League Kensington had a close game against Goodwood and scored 2 in their last at bat to come away 6-2 winners

Pee Wee League had their first outing and Coach Ben Robertson was pleased with the effort and enthusiasm from the squad. Unfortunately scores are not allowed to be published
